More Benefits

Lower power usage

The ultrasound unit uses very little electricity, with a maximum draw of about 7 watts.

No mechanical parts

Since there are no moving components, maintenance is basically close to zero.

Simple installation

Our sensors are quick and straightforward to install and commission, and they work in both horizontal and vertical setups.

Real-time quality monitoring

The system gives continuous in-line product quality data, so operators can adjust process settings immediately if anything drifts out of spec.

No shut down Risk

A lot of other in-line or at-line tools can force a production stop if they fail. Our solution is fully non-invasive and does not alter the pipe geometry. The test section matches the pipe’s inner and outer diameter exactly.

Safer than vibrating pins

Vibrating-pin systems are invasive, which means there’s always a risk of a pin breaking off and ending up in the product (and potentially harming consumers). They’re also harder to clean properly during CIP, creating hygiene concerns.

Among those listed here are even more benefits. Because the Incipientus system is fully in-line and non-invasive, it avoids the contamination risks normally linked to at-line devices. At-line tools rely on pneumatic valves that open and close during sampling, and if these valves do not seal or cycle correctly, bacteria can start growing on the process line without anyone noticing right away. In addition, the small capillary tubes used for at-line sampling must be flushed properly every time. If flushing fails, bacteria can build up inside the tubes, and the issue may only be discovered once it becomes a serious public problem. Incipientus also lowers the chance of mechanical failure and reduces the need for manual monitoring, since at-line equipment has more mechanical components that can fail and often requires operators to check it constantly to stay reliable.

Overall, Incipientus offers the only truly in-line, non-invasive measurement approach. That means zero contamination risk and a fully hygienic process from start to finish.
